“Unfortunately I can’t share with you a warm, fuzzy testimonial about how I became a chiropractor, but I knew all along that I wanted to pursue a career in health care.”

After completing his undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier University, Dr. Sinclair was hired by the then-largest pharmaceutical company in the world, and soon became disillusioned with the industry and resumed his search for a career in health care. At about the same time he met Dr. Verne Thompson, a chiropractor, who inspired him to explore the chiropractic profession.

“I was fortunate enough to be born into a chiropractic family and have been living the chiropractic lifestyle my entire life. I attribute a lot of my health and wellness, and the ability to do the things that I love, to chiropractic.”

“When I was sixteen I had the opportunity to work as a chiropractic assistant. It was this experience that exposed me to many patient stories of how chiropractic changed their lives and impacted their health. The patients, stories and the chiropractor I worked with, sparked passion within me that drove me to where I am today.”

Growing up, there was always a very firm understanding that being healthy and taking care of yourself, both physically as well as mentally, was of the utmost importance. I knew that as hard as I was going to push myself, I would also have to spend an equal amount of time healing. This lifestyle, and it’s benefits, led me to Massage Therapy.

It is hard to believe over 30 years ago I came to this “job” with no idea how chiropractic would change my life. Many events have happened in those 30 years. I met and married my husband, Michael, and we have two amazing kids, Kendall and Jacob and a crazy dog Emma. You might initially think its bit strange, but one of the requirements I had before marrying Michael was that he get a chiropractic checkup. I wanted him to be the healthiest he could be and I knew when we had children I would want him to understand why it would be so important that they get adjusted as well. read more »

Working with such an incredible person such as Dr. Vince Sinclair, I am not surprised that his children, Casey, Morgan and Gavin have all followed in his footsteps and applied their five essential healthy approach to the clinic. Getting chiropractic care allows me better flexibility playing golf and allows me to do things I never thought I could. For example, I have just recently joined a gym and participated in a boot camp. I have a love for people and animals and spend a lot of my “down” time reading. I guess you could say I may have started 30 years ago in a “job” but it certainly became a lifetime love of helping people be the best they can be.

I graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Life Science, during which I developed an interest in human physiology and rehabilitation. I was intrigued with how the human body functions and its effect on our health physically and mentally) and hope to pursue a career that would make a difference in the lives of others. I choose chiropractic over other alternate rehabilitation disciplines because of the philosophy behind the practice and its holistic approach towards better health.read more »
